La legislatura de Florida hizo algunos cambios a la licencia de médicos educado en el extranjero.

Actualmente bajo la ley de Florida, hay 2 maneras para un graduado de una escuela de medicina extranjera para lograr la licencia como médico en la Florida. La nueva ley permite una mayor flexibilidad dentro de esas dos vías.
